Looking at scent two, I stumbled on Jo Malone fragrances when I ventured to Nordstrom and spent an hour chasing a perfume high. When I read Freesia on the label, the scent memory in my brain reverted back to high school when you drenched your soul in Bath and Body Works scents. I recall Country Apple, Freesia, and Cucumber Melon taking up real estate on my dresser and clothing.
The freesia in Jo Malone's scent is not our high school freesia. This scent is warm and fresh with a base of amber (keep this in mind).
Research says that the wearer of Jo Malone’s English Pear & Freesia is often seen as someone who appreciates the simplicity of natural beauty, leaning towards a timeless, gentle sophistication. This scent appeals to those who enjoy fresh, light fragrances that subtly complement rather than overpower, suggesting a person who values elegance with a soft, inviting touch. The blend of pear and freesia embodies a graceful, romantic quality, while the patchouli and amber hint at a grounded, comforting warmth.
People who wear this fragrance may also have an affinity for the changing seasons, especially autumn, and a love for experiences that evoke tranquility and refinement. They may see beauty in the understated and have a knack for blending classic elements with fresh perspectives, making them both approachable and memorable.
Have I gotten a step closer to finding my scent? What do you think-- has it captured my essence, my interests, my New England soul?
